Rodrigo Perez-Garcia, chemist. He is interested in points of contact between art and science, especially within nanotechnology and renewable energies, interfacial phenomena, music, art, and literature. Currently he works at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam. He graduated as Erasmus Mundus Master in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modeling (Netherlands, Italy) and has already completed several research residencies in Bristol (UK), Ispra (Italy) and Kyoto (Japan). As a co-founder of Polyhedra (www.polyhedra.eu), Rodrigo coordinates and organizes multidisciplinary projects such as KLAS – Knowledge Link through Art and Science, which establish links between local conditions and global cultures.
