Experimental musician, composer and artist

Alberto de Campo (*1964), experimental musician, composer, and artist working with electronic and algorithmic means. He plays solo, in ensembles like Trio Brachiale, Kairos Theory, powerbooks_unplugged, _NextPowerOfN, and works with Florian Hecker, Marcus Schmickler, Mario de Vega, Julian Rohrhuber, and others. His research interests include instrument design, audiovisual performance and improvisation with complex systems, sonification for scientific and artistic contexts. He presents works, talks and workshops at international festivals and conferences like NIME, Sonar+D, VIVO etc. Since 2009 de Campo is professor for generative/computational art at Berlin University of the Arts.
