Hildegard Kleeb, pianist of new music and improviser. Piano studies in Zurich, with Claude Helffer in Paris and Jürg Wyttenbach in Basel. Visiting scholar at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki 1990; Residency in London. Residency at Wesleyan University, Connecticut 1992–95. World premieres of works by composers including Peter Ablinger, Maria de Alvear, Anthony Braxton, John Cage, Roland Dahinden, Hauke Harder, Bernhard Lang, Alvin Lucier, Christian Wolff. CD recordings for hatART Basel, Leo Records London, Lovely Music New York, Mode Records New York, World Music Cologne, among others. Interdisciplinary collaboration with visual artists, dancers, architects and literary figures such as Inge Dick, Margret Kreidl, Dorothea Rust, Morger & Degelo.
